Field Service
FieldOps: Field Service Management Software for HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical
Trades businesses still run on phone calls, whiteboards, and paper job sheets. FieldOps tracks every job from the first call to the final invoice: a dispatch board for the office, a mobile app for technicians, and live revenue for the owner.

Many HVAC, plumbing, and electrical companies still run the day on phone calls, a whiteboard, and paper job sheets. It works until an emergency call goes unassigned, a technician arrives without the details they need, or finished work waits days to be invoiced. FieldOps is field service management software I built to carry every job from the first call to the final invoice.
The challenge
The big field service platforms solve this, but they are expensive and packed with features that small and mid-sized contractors rarely use. The owner’s real questions are simple. What’s happening today? Who’s on which job? What hasn’t been paid? Most of the time, the answers live in someone’s head or in next month’s report.
FieldOps is a demo product built with fictional customers and technicians. It shows the workflow and the system I would build for a real trades business.
The approach: one work order, three views
Every service request becomes a work order with a customer, site address, job type, time slot, assigned technician, and a full activity log. The same work order is shown in three ways, one for each person who touches it:
- Dispatch board, for the office. Today’s work orders grouped by status (scheduled, in progress, completed, unassigned), with emergency and unassigned jobs highlighted the moment they are logged.
- Technician app, for the field. A mobile-first job view where technicians accept, start, and complete work, and add notes, photos, and parts used. All job details are on their phone, with no paper.
- Operations dashboard, for the owner. Jobs today, monthly revenue, outstanding balance, crew on shift, and recent activity, updated as work happens.
Completed jobs flow straight into invoicing, and overdue and unpaid invoices are tracked on the dashboard. Customer records cover residential and commercial accounts, with their sites, job history, and invoices in one place.
The outcome
Emergency and unassigned jobs are visible as soon as they come in. Technicians have everything they need on their phone. Work goes from “done” to “invoiced” without re-typing, and the owner sees revenue and overdue invoices without waiting for a monthly report.
You can try the FieldOps demo. If your trades or home services business is ready to move off whiteboards and paper, I can build dispatch and job management software that fits how your crews work.

Cutting Load Time by 65% on a Multi-Tenant SaaS Platform
A growing SaaS platform was bleeding users on slow routes. We profiled the request path, rebuilt the rendering pipeline, introduced edge caching, and migrated heavy queries to read replicas — with no downtime.

A B2B landing page was driving traffic but converting under 1%. We rebuilt the page architecture, simplified the lead form, instrumented the funnel end-to-end, and ran a structured test plan over six weeks.

Zero-Downtime Migration to Scalable Infrastructure
A platform hitting database limits during peak hours was migrated to a horizontally-scalable architecture with read replicas, queue-backed background jobs, and CDN-fronted assets — deployed with feature flags and gradual rollout.

Kelavo: Building an AI Automation SaaS for Freelancers & Agencies
Freelancers and small agencies lose hours to non-billable admin. I built Kelavo, a subscription SaaS where six specialised AI agents handle the client lifecycle from lead to invoice, and the owner approves every action before it goes out.

Freight Broker CRM: Running a Brokerage from Quote to Invoice
Freight brokerages juggle load boards, spreadsheets, email, and accounting tools. This custom CRM and lightweight TMS puts quotes, loads, carriers, billing, and margin reporting in one workspace, with exceptions shown before the shipper calls.
